Peace wearing pajama
Time runs out, yet space opens up. The hands of the clock close together; the sign flips to "Closed." That is where the fruit is born: a strange day, steeped in the flavor of drama, when in reality it was peace wearing banana, print pajamas, a child tucked into bed and a rubber duck in the shower eager to play.
Nothing remains on the floor; the wetness has been wiped away, the damage dried, and now it is the neighbor who makes no noise, yet I cannot bear the silence of that noise which, for so long, served as a mirror.
The time measured by that furious barking has ended, barking that came from neither a hunted stag nor an injured duck; rather, both were running for their lives, and now life takes them both by surprise. A time when one comes to believe that the most coveted treasure is silence amidst leisure, and noise amidst peace.
