Destruction or wisdom

At the threshold of reactivity lie the hidden parts, swelling within as if about to burst, though they only manage to crack. They neither cease nor fully surface; they only emerge when it is already too late to avert a future scenario of regret.

No untold tales remain that haven't already experienced the rebirth of something long dead, and the stench that no one wants to hear. Now the trumpets fall silent, the shotguns sing, and the part that stood erect begins to battle; it barely trembles when the mixture of wine and salt blows in.

A prickling sensation runs over the skin of the wayfarer, whose gait is far from normal, as the time comes to face one of the many harsh sorrows that, for years, kept the sin and the longing to embrace what belongs to another under wraps.

They slumber, for there has been no time yet to shed light on the darkness, while the bird nearby prowls, growing bored even with the act of watching.
